Red Alert (红色警戒) is Westwood's 1996 alternate-history RTS: the Allies against a Soviet Union that Einstein let loose. The Allied freeware campaign plays here.
Red Alert (红色警戒) is Westwood Studios' 1996 real-time strategy game, set in a history that forked when Einstein removed Hitler before the war — and found that it left the Soviet Union with nobody in its way.
What follows is the Allies against that Soviet Union across Europe, with two campaigns that contradict each other on purpose: each side is playable, each one wins, and the game never says which happened. It is built on the engine Command & Conquer introduced a year earlier, which put construction, resource gathering and combat on one continuous map instead of in separate screens.
Electronic Arts released Red Alert as freeware, so the Allied campaign starts here with nothing to buy and nothing to upload. The game runs in this browser and its saves stay on this device.
